1. Disconnect AC Pump from Block so system is not opened. Need a 90 inch belt for this swap

2. It is best to use the 2.3L wiring harness

3. Swap junction box on end of cylinder head  from the 2.3L (The 2.5L one is plastic and does not have the sensor the alum 2.3L one has)

swap this hose from the 2.3L to the 2.5L to match the nipple angle of the 2.3L alum hose junction block

pull this out of your 2.5 intake you take the blue O' ring off end and put it on the vacuum adapter in the kit.

remove all electrical devices from both manifolds, and connect 2 imrc wires together to fool the computer. the 2.5l has no IMRC

"IMRC Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve Solenoid = "vacuum valve" on top of the 2.3 manifold)
Connect the b/w wire that was for the "IMRC Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve Solenoid to the Wt/Red wire that was for the "IMRC Intake Manifold Runner Control Actuator". Don't forget to wrap, solder and heart shrink the two IMRC wires together. 

3. Use the 2.3L flex plate on the 2.5L. Different torque converter bolt spacing. Torque to 30 then 60 then 83 ft lbs


4. Attach the Throttle Body adapter, all bolts needed are included.  

5. Don't remove balancer or timing will slip and you will crash valves without a crank holding tool. (Friction Set Timing)

 

6. Don't push pins from the COP wiring harness into the fuel rail so the wires can reach the new tilted 2.5L COPS

8)Swap this head temp sensor. Put the 2.3L one in the 2.5L or splice in the 2.5l connector. the Connectors are different.
