Airman by Eoin Colfer (Man is unjustly imprisoned, makes a criminal empire that only exists in prison)
All these are still awesome, I just like Inheritance and Airman a lot.
Chronicles of Ancient Darkness by Michelle Paver (Kinda like Percy Jackson but not at all and also native american kinda)
Peter Nimble by Jonathan Auxier (Blind kid is blind, doesn’t let that stop him or if batman was blind and also a criminal)
Mirrorworld by Cornelia Funke (Like Narnia if the main characters were kinda like mercenaries)
Inkworld by Cornelia Funke (Things going in and coming out of books)
The Maze Runner by James Dashner (You’ve probably heard of it)
Wings of Fire by Tui T. Sutherland (Dragons and stuff, but the main characters are dragons)
The entire Rick Riordan Universe (Is and always will be amazing)
Daniel X by James Patterson (Alien with superpowers hunts other psychopathic aliens)
Maximum Ride by James Patterson (starts out good and then the world ends, mixed feelings)
Hardy Boys by Franklin W. Wixon (If you want a chill Mystery story)
Red Rising Saga by Pierce Brown (Space and classism and action and politics and awesome)
Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark by people (Self Explanatory)
Narnia by C.S. Lewis (magical and fun and sad)
Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (Very smart man solves crimes and does drugs)
The Rook by Brown Little (Very cool men-in-black esque with amnesia, and a sequel though both are listed as novels)
Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer (Supersmart kid extorts fairies to swindle russian mobsters)
The Sea of Trolls by Nancy Farmer (Vikings and bards and the fae)
A Series of Unfortunate Events (Self explanatory, spawned a very good movie and netflix series)
The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart (Smart kids meet smart man and spy on people)
Under the Wolf, Under the Dog by Adam Rapp (Mentally unstable teen is mentaly unstable and also love)
Woven by Michael Jensen (Cute Romance about a dead guy and living girl with jedi powers thrown in at the end)
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak (Very sad and very good)
Slaughterhouse-five by Kurt Vonnegut (About WWII and also aliens and also life. So it goes.)
