CodeBuddies Hangout Advice

  1. Turn off your video.

  2. Open up a new window with one tab for the google hangout, another for (if you’re working with HTML/CSS/JS), and a third tab for the tutorial.

  3. Click on the green icon to share your screen. If everyone shares their screens, we can help each other more easily, see what we've each coded, and also be able to point to what we're talking about more easily.

  4. Take turns talking through the code out loud. Click each other’s icons to see the other person’s screen to help each other debug.

  1. Mute your microphone if loud background noise is coming from your environment.

  2. Take turns explaining the code out loud. Give everyone a chance to speak and ask questions.
