Colonization an pop info

System type

Old world Colonization: Cost range Around 2 Trillion per phase

Population to be moved: 1-3 Billion

Standard time: 3 phases.

Population movement: 10% first phase, 30% second phase, 60% last phase

Increased colonization rate increase the phase cost by 500 Billion. (so 2 phases go up to 2.5 instead of 2 per phase)

New world colonization: Cost ranges between 200-500 Billions.

Population to be moved: no standard defined case by case

All new world colonies gets a 100% initial GDP  boost.

(5)Desert System: +30% extra administration cost, ? Initial Population. standard cost, 50% of standard food production.

(9)Mountain/volcanic System:

On old world: +50% Initial cost, ? Initial Pop, +50% initial GDP, double GDP % growth. can feed a max of 5 billion. no food exports.

New World: +100% Initial Cost, ? initial population, +100% Initial GDP,  no food exports

(7)Temperate System:Standard population, Standard cost.

(6)Jungle System: ? Initial Population, +50% initial cost.

(8)Oceanic System: +50% initial population, +50% initial cost. 1.5 x food production

(10)Garden System: +100% initial population, double initial population growth. -50% initial cost.

(8)Asteroid System: ?  initial population, -50% initial cost, +50% initial GDP, can feed up to 2  Billion max,no food exportation

Overpopulation information:

Home System:

20-25 Billions: Produce 75% of food and water needed

25-30 Billions: Produce 50% of food and water needed

30-35 Billions: Produce 25% of food and water needed

35+ Billions: When a system hits this number it has gone beyond critical, and can no longer produce food of any amount, population growth will start declining towards zero by 30% every turn.

This mean that Home system always relies on Departments to obtain water and food to survive, take care of your food production, starvation and unrest will set up as you lose supply.

Departments:

1-5 Billions: Produce excess food and water. Can feed an extra 3 Billion people.

5-10 Billions: take care of itself.

10+: No longer is self sustainable and need to import from other areas.

Colonies:

up to 1 Billion: produce 1 Billion food

1-2: feed itself

2+: Needs to Import food

Varied Pop and Colonization Information

When A capital system reduce its population below 20 Billions its population growth is automatically doubled until 20 billion reached again. Below 15 Billion tripled. below 10  quadrupled. and changed accordingly.

Departments start with double double economic growth and population growth from standard.(plus added bonuses)

Moving population to departments cost around 1 trillion per billion people. for colonies its case for case basis.

Home systems that go below 15 Billion pop, produce an extra 5 billion food.
