Secret Boss Jevil

Kill Jester

Guide by Poke#5991

Short secret boss guide:
At the castle's first elevator, once you can use it, there's a floor labeled "??????"
Take it, talk to the door
You'll need 3 keys:
A – Talk to the old shopkeeper
B – Find it in the forest, in the place with the spinning dancing monsters, there's an invisible path to the south
C – At the start of the forest there's a puzzle that requires 4 card icons: Diamond, Heart, Club, Spade
Fix the key parts at the fixer near the bake sale
Open the door, prepare your body

The background of Jevil’s fight is a carasolue, which can be found in the sprite sheet, which can be pictured below

JEVIL’S THEME (A real banger)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvjToSk06Ow

(Toby was clearly inspired by the Mario RPG series when he composed this)

Easter Eggs

DON’T FORGET!

In Undertale, there is a secret locked room outside of Sans & Papyrus’s house.

That room can be viewed in this video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8pyOf6XjFZU

In San’s lab, in one of the drawers, a text box appears saying the following

“(There’s a photo album inside the drawer)

(There are photos of… Huh?)

(A card is sticking out from the back flap of the binder)

(It’s a poorly drawn picture of three smiling people)

(Written on it…)

‘don’t forget’”

Three smiling people could refer to Kris, Susie, and Ralsei.

“Don’t Forget” is more significant though, as the ending credits song, is titled “Don’t Forget)

mus_smile

In the background of the lab, you can spot a blueprint.

The blueprint used for the Thrasher Machine in Deltarune is similar to the one found in San’s lab. (Not completely accurate, but similar markings)

Gasters Followers

In Undertale, Gaster has “Followers” that can be uncovered throughout the game randomly. One of them is an unused NPC. This unused NPC is seen in DELTARUNE in the Library.

The Door

In the overworld, after you defeat King Boss and are taken back, you can explore the overworld and uncover this door. Interacting with it only yields “It’s Locked” as a response. Machine ambience can be heard playing when you stand in front of the door, When sped up, you can clearly hear /Entry 17 theme from Undertale

Sped Up:

The location of the door sound or entry 17 is still unknown.

Personally, I believe that the sound file may have some hints.

The History Of DELTARUNE.com

https://www.reddit.com/r/Deltarune/comments/9t4cws/deltarunecom_on_the_wayback_machine

While deltarune.com has been officially released only recently, the website itself seems to have been containing hints since at least 2016.

The first archive of the site to the Wayback Machine was in July 2016, containing only a black image called him.png.

Brightening this image reveals hidden wingdings. A quick search reveals that him.png also has two archives, ones that date even further back.

The first archive of him.png is from December 2015. The picture contains secret wingdings that read:

“THIS NEXT

EXPERIMENT

SEEMS

VERY

 VERY

 INTERESTING”

The second is from December 2016. This is also the image that’s in the first archive of deltarune.com, and similarly contains the words:

“THREE HEROES

APPEARED

TO BANISH THE

ANGEL’S HEAVEN”

This means that the second game was on the works since at least December 2015.

New findings about the Egg/FUN Mystery will be posted here

In room 88, the room with the flying bird that shoots stars at you, also known as the bell room, if you enter and exit that room, there’s a random chance you will be teleported to “The Egg Room.” Where you can obtain the egg key item. Having this egg item in hand causes mysterious things to happen to the game. It is unknown what all of the effects are of this egg.

Egg Room ID is 142.
