When you call upon the spirits to change your shape into a species whose essence you have studied or who lives in your land, roll+WIS. You and your possession meld into its form. You have 1-2 Instincts and any innate abilities or weaknesses of the form: claws, wings, gills, breathing water instead of air. You still use your normal stats but some moves may be harder to trigger.
*On a 10+ hold 3. *On a 7–9 hold 2. *On a 6- hold 1 in addition to whatever the GM says.
When you make a move affiliated with an Instinct or ability, you may spend Hold 1-to-1 to add +1 to any roll you make. When you’re out of hold, you return to your natural form. At any time, you may discard all your hold to revert to your natural form.
